We are a two-person workshop in Rotterdam. We take mid-century chairs, cabinets and dining tables — pieces that have been inherited, stored, or found — strip decades of bad varnish back to bare wood, repair the joinery by hand, and finish in linseed oil or traditional shellac. Every piece that leaves the bench looks the way it was supposed to look when it was first made. We work slowly, and we work on a limited number of pieces at a time. If you have something worth saving, we would like to see it.
